The BADJA Mission

"Setting the standard for mobile DJ & KJ entertainment"

BADJA's was incorporated to bridge the gap between the disc jockey and karaoke jockey industry with outside industry vendors and clients that utilize our professional services.

BADJA's GOALS:

Educate BADJA members:  We communicate information about innovation and advancements within the industry, as well as through shared experience of our veteran members with new members and guests.

Educate the community: Not all disc jockeys are created equal.  With the advancement of technology, hundreds on non-professional DJ and KJ companies are entering the market, many of which would not qualify for association membership.  BADJA provides press releases and informational seminars to industry partners, as well as to consumers, about the importance of only hiring qualified entertainment professionals at their events.

Become leaders:  A main component of BADJA membership is the ability to learn about the difficult, but rewarding challenge of operating your own business.  At our monthly educational seminars, we share personal experiences and opportunities for both business and professional growth.

Giving back:  Our hard work within our own industry flows out to the public as BADJA members give back to their community through service.  Many members take pro bono or discounted events that benefit civic and charitable organizations.  BADJA members also volunteer at annual fundraisers for Maryland Public Television and generously donate to emergency relief efforts, holiday gift drives, and collections to support other disc jockeys nationwide that may be suffering from the effects of illness, disaster, or crime.
