Education, networking, the latest in DJ technology, and a desire to provide 110% client satisfaction and ultimately make a difference in the event industry… that’s the BADJA difference.

For just $150 per year, members are entitled to a monthly live (in-person) seminar in Owings Mills, MD where we discuss business topics, new gear, music trends, and even bring in clients and other vendors to learn more about how others perceive DJs and our role at events. Members also enjoy a free annual holiday dinner and access to BADJA social gatherings.

All BADJA members also receive a Silver Membership with the United States Disc Jockey Association (USDJA) which offers benefits such as discounted, group liability and property insurance, savings on business products and services, and discounts on music pools and equipment.

BADJA members also gain access to online client education and marketing tools, such as BADJA-published blog posts and helpful tips. Retweeting or sharing these posts will allow your clients (and potential clients) to see that you are part of a professional organization and are committed to being a top entertainer in the industry.

Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for professionals that can add to our network of entertainers as well as new DJs that have a good start, but want to jump-start their DJ career. Applicants are reviewed in person (or by video if schedules do not permit) by current members. We’ll offer helpful suggestions and ensure you have the necessary professional equipment to entertain at the majority of events. We also require our DJs to use legal music libraries (pro sources such as Promo Only, RPM, and X-Mix, for example) in addition to using contracts and maintaining high business ethics and standards.
